    Did you know........

Dexter Holland, lead singer of The Offspring

earned a B.S. in biology and an M.S. in molecular biology, and commenced a Ph.D. in molecular biology

Holland has said that, at 40 years of age, he would rather be a professor at a university than play music.

As of 2013, Holland is a doctoral student at the Laboratory of Viral Oncology and Proteomics Research, Keck School of Medicine, where he is supervised by Professor Suraiya Rasheed

She also sued Mel Brooks for using the name "Hedley Lamarr" in Blazing Saddles. According to Mel, she settled out of court for "not a lot of money and an apology for almost using her name".

I wonder if she was really just torqued that Mel hadn't written a part for her.

George Thorogood was a baseball player (outfield IIRC) before turning to music.

Rabbits have two kinds of poop.

The shiny soft ones are for re digestion.

The hard round ones are the final poop for fertilizing the soil.

Hey, now, that was a secret!

But, yeah, I love Freddy Mercury's music. They don't write'em like that anymore. For just one example, listen to Side 2 of "Night at the Opera", and the way "Prophet's Song" transitions over to "Love of my Life". Very, very different from the shallow pap our kids these days are listening to. I think Brian May wrote "I'm in Love with my Car" on that album; nice piece of rock, too.

Did you know "I'm in Love with my Car" is the only song on that album written entirely by... Roger Taylor? He also sang it.
