Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and new to cycling in general. I recently bought a Trek 2000 road bike. 47cm with 650 tires. My hope is that it will last for a few years. I also just bought a Trek 4 series Mountain bike. We also just bought my husband a Cannondale Caad 8. He has a Trek Mountain bike (don't remember exactly which one). I'm also looking at eventually getting a Specialized 44cm bike.
Koronin is from the days I was in a Klingon fan club and that was the Klingon name I choose for myself. My real first name is Gretta
I'm almost 36 (Oct) and am a woman. I'm originally from Ohio, moved to the Charlotte, NC area 10 years ago and just moved due to hubby's job to Jacksonville, NC in the past couple of months.
The Trek 2000 is my very first road bike and I love it. I've found that I much prefer the road bike to anything I've ever owned before and like it a bit better than my new mountain bike, although this is the first mountain bike I've ever had that I'm comfortable on as well. Go figure I'm 35 and for the first time in my adult life have finally gotten a bike (well two actually) that I'm comfortable riding.
I work as a merchandiser for several companies. This type of work is part-time, but I love it because I can set my own hours and to a point pick and choose the type of work I want to do. Basically as long as the work is done by the due date and reported on time, everyone is happy.

I found this forum because I'm obsessive compulsive and research everything. And I like forums.
Riding since I was 3. I had a 7 year gap when I was poor and my bikes kept getting stolen. During my youth, I literally HAD to ride or I would get grounded. Dad used to race before I was born.
I have a Gary Fisher hardtail, a Maurushi steel 10 spd, and a shiny new Specialized Dolce. I know you said pick one, but I ride them all, not nearly as much as i'd like though.
