Facebook Jail - Who's been convicted and sentenced :)

So I just got off of a 24 hour stint in Facebook Jail.. For going to town and a turd that deserved it. I'll post a picture later, I don't have it on me.. but some jackass tried to weaponize autism and use it as an insult.. and I was not having it.

I got 3 days about a year ago. A female friend posted a photo of Jason Momoa. 15 or so other women made comments about the things they would like to do with/to him. I commented "Men are pigs". I requested a review, and was kept on vacation for the full 3 days.

Your attachment isn't showing up for me, though it shows in the reply. I have certainly gotten in to some heated back and forths (usually politically related) on FB and said significantly worse things, but yes, that got me 3 days. The only time ever.

Facebook sounds like junior high school hell. Getting banned does indeed sound like a "vacation"...............from an insane asylum.

You are correct, unfortunately, there are a few people who bailed here and rarely venture back

No, not so, a asylum is far more predictable.

I joined FB for the sole purpose of connecting to a closed private group of members that were screwed over by a business. It was an effective means of disseminating information and providing moral support.

Not once did I friend anyone or posted an animated GIF of a unicorn jumping over a rainbow.

I'll leave that to the prepubescent narcissists who frequent the platform.

Facebook arguments are about as productive as the ones in Politics Only. No one's mind ever gets changed.

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Average age of Facebook user is 40.5 years of age and fewer than 10% of users in America are under the age of 17. 65% of users are 35 or older.

The "prepubscent narcisists" changed platforms sometime ago.

Over many years, a few people have said they have changed their minds on things.

The main purpose there (IMO) is not changing minds, but rather sharpening arguments. Some do, some don't.

It's nice to see that Facebook is cracking down on those who really need it, as opposed to Russian hackers and others who threaten our national security.

No kidding. My high school aged son had a fit when we told him part of managing the 5-th grade basketball team he's coaching involves using e-mail. Who uses e-mail? He also washed his car for the first time yesterday. He used Prell shampoo. God, they're dumb.
