MH: I want to go like my Dad did - peacefully, in his sleep, not screaming in terror like his passengers.

SS: COMPLACENCY IS LETHAL. VOTE in November.

Homer: I believe that the children are our future. Unless we stop them now.

Plat: I'd rather fellate a syphilitic goat than own a Cervelo.

Seam: Saw Bjork poop onstage back in the day. It blew my teenage mind.

I woulda said the Hell-scenes from Constantine, but yeah, that works too.

In other news, just found out that the entire town of Phoenix, Oregon has been pretty much wiped off the map. I lived about two miles from there during my sophomore year of high school.

Entire West Coast is getting hit. Halp!

Just a little north of you in Oregon ... the smoke is so thick at my house, visibility is about 3 blocks max, and I'm not in the country.

The wind was blowing on Tuesday, then stalled out, which settled all the smoke into both Tualatin and Willamette Valley's. The only bright spot is the heat went away ... was supposed to be 86 today, but I don't think it broke 65 at our house.

We MIGHT get some rain next Monday, but I'm not expecting a lot if we do.

The west coast needs some of the tropical storms heading toward the South and East coasts.
Voting isn't marriage - it's public transport. You are not waiting for "The One" who is absolutely perfect. You are getting on the bus, and if there isn't one going exactly to your destination you don't stay at home and sulk - you take the one going closest to where you want to be!

My Sister lives in Tuscon, has asthma and said that yesterday the smoke from the CA fires is becoming a problem for her hiking.
