Red face guess it's time for more Morrissey lyrics

hasn't been another good week i guess.

    I'm writing this to say
    in a gentle way
    Thank You - but no
I will live my life as I
    will undoubtedly die - alone
    I'm writing this to say
    in a gentle way
    Thank you...
I will live my life as I...
    for whether you stay
    or you stray
an inbuilt guilt catches up with you
and as it comes around to your place
at 5 a.m. it wakes you up
    and laughs in your face

anybody want to add lyrics to enhance my self-loathing?
One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.

Don't hate yourself, J. Hate other people. It's healthier that way.

Repeat after me, "I'm not the problem. Everyone else is."

Find any album by The Pist (in fact, there may only be one), they'll help you hate everyone besides yourself.
Harrow: "You have to finish it, lad. You have to finish it. For a man to lay beaten... and yet breathing? It makes him a coward."

    Inara: "It's humiliation."

Mal: "Sure. It would be humiliating. Having to lie there while the better man refuses to spill your blood... Mercy is the mark of a great man. (lightly stabs Atherton with the sword) Guess I'm just a good man. (stabs him again) Well, I'm all right."

If Morrisey doesn't do it get Closer by Joy Division and you can just wallow in those lyrics:

    Passover
This is the crises I knew had to come
    Destroying the balance
    I'd kept
Doubting and settling and turning around
    Wondering what will come next

Is this the role that you wanted to live
I was foolish to ask for so much
Without the protection and infancy's guard
It all falls apart at the first touch

Watching the reel as it comes to a close
    Brutally taking its time
People who change for no reason at all
It's happening all of the time

Can I go on with this train of defense
    Disturbing and purging my mind
I count up my duties -
    when all's said and done
I know that I'll lose every time

Moving along in our God given ways
Safety is sat by the fire
    Sanctuary from these feverish smiles
Left with a mark on the door

Is this the gift that I wanted to give
    Forgive and forget's
    what they teach
I'll pass through the deserts and waste -
    lands once more
And watch as they drop by the beach

This is a crises I knew had to come
    Destroying the balance I'd kept
Turning around to the next set of lies
    Wondering what will come next

There's a club if you'd like to go/You could meet somebody you really love/So you go and you stand on your own/And you leave on your own/And you go home and you cry and you want to die"

If a double decker bus/Kills the both of us/To die by your side/The pleasure is mine

Last night the plans for a future war was all I saw on Channel 4

I wear black on the outside
Because black is how I feel on the inside

The music they constantly play says nothing to me about my life

Heck if the first side of Husker Du's Zen Arcade doesn't get out his agressions I'm not sure what will. Used to scream along to Bob Mould with that one when I needed a good emotional release.

The most intense of burning hells
    Blasting expectations into smithereens
Never feeling normal, can't accept the truth
Resign myself to hating it, I hate it all

    Can't say that I don't like it
Because the words won't come out right
All I feel is bitter, and it won't make it better

59 times the pain, I could never be like you
59 times the pain, I could never be with you
    59 times the pain

Never figured out eating 3 meals a day
When the people sit in their broken-down homes
Look at the photos from different eras gone by
Shows the changes, and I hate them all

Don't want to live with myself
Can't live with what goes on
All I see is the humiliation
    I wish it was gone

59 times the pain, I could never be real
One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got into my pajamas I'll never know.

Why does it hurt when I pee?
    I don?t want no doctor
To stick no needle in me
Why does it hurt when I pee?
I got it from the toilet seat
I got it from the toilet seat
    It jumped right up
    ?n? grabbed my meat
Got it from the toilet seat
My balls feel like a pair of maracas
My balls feel like a pair of maracas
Oh God I probably got the
    Gon-o-ka-ka-khackus!
My balls feel like a pair of maracas
    Ai-ee-ai-ee-ahhhh!

    Why does it
    Why does it hurt...when i

If you think Joy Division is depressing take a look at the Swans lyrics sometime. Man that is some messed up sh*t.

Have you ever listened to Neil Young's "Down By The River" sung by a Leonard Cohen impersonator singing in whatever dialect they use just outside of Leipzig?
THAT is some messed up sh*t.

BTW (Back To Work, in my work-a-day world). Ta ta! Catch you on the flip side.

Pain Is So Close To Pleasure

Ooh, ooh, pain is so close to pleasure, oh yeah,
Sunshine and rainy weather go hand in hand together all your life,
Ooh, Ooh, pain is so close to pleasure everbody knows,
One day we love each other then we're fighting one another all the time,
When I was young and just getting started,
And people talked to me they sounded broken hearted,
Then I grew up and got my imagination
And all I wanted was to start a new releation,
So in love but love had a bad reaction,
I was looking for good old satisfaction,
But pain is all I got when all I needed was some love and affection,
Ooh, ooh, pain is so close to pleasure, yeah, yeah,
Sunshine and rainy weather go hand in hand together all your life,
Pain and pleasure, Ooh, Ooh, pain and pleasure,
When your plans go wrong and you turn out the light,
But inside your mind you have to put up a fight,
Where are the answers that we're all searching for,
There's nothing in this world to be sure of anymore,
But if you're feeling happy someone else is always sad,
Let the sweetness on love wipe the tears from your facem
Ooh, ooh, pain is so close to pleasure, I told you so,
Sunshine and rainy weather go hand in hand together all your life,
Pain is so close to pleasure, yeah, yeah,
Sunshine and rainy weather go hand in hand together all your life,
    All your life,
    Pain - pleasure.

    The only good Sheila song......

Is it wrong to want to live on your own ?
No, it's not wrong - but I must know
    How can someone so young
    Sing words so sad ?

Sheila take a, Sheila take a bow
Boot the grime of this world in the crotch, dear
    And don't go home tonight
Come out and find the one that you love and who loves you
The one that you love and who loves you
    Oh ...

Is it wrong not to always be glad ?
No, it's not wrong - but I must add
    How can someone so young
    Sing words so sad ?

Sheila take a, Sheila take a bow
Boot the grime of this world in the crotch, dear
    And don't go home tonight
Come out and find the one that you love and who loves you
The one that you love and who loves you

Take my hand and off we stride
    Oh, la ...
    You're a girl and I'm a boy
    La ...
Take my hand and off we stride
    Oh, la ...
    I'm a girl and you're a boy
    La ...

Sheila take a, Sheila take a bow

    How about some 60's gloom?

Can't leave out my favorite Roy Orbison song for when I'm depressed over a woman:
    "It's Over"

Your baby doesn't love you anymore

    Golden days before they end
    Whisper secrets to the wind
Your baby won't be near you anymore

    Tender nights before they fly
Send falling stars that seem to cry
Your baby doesn't want you anymore, it's over

It breaks your heart in two
    To know she's been untrue
But, oh, what will you do
When she says to you there's someone new
    We're through, we're through

    It's over, it's over, it's over

All the rainbows in the sky
Start to weep then say goodbye
You won't be seeing rainbows anymore

    Setting suns before they fall
Echo to you that's all, that's all
But you'll see lonely sunsets after all

    It's over, it's over, it's over
    It's over
