I got my SCUBA cert through PADI in college, but haven't used it since then. It's cool enough just diving in a lake, I can't imagine what it's like to dive wrecks and caves. And, if memory serves me correctly, Andy69 is or was an underwater welder or something.

I'm still skateboarding as often as I can; I've learned to better mitigate risks and take care of myself...I don't bounce like I used to.

I also tinker around with guitars, both playing and fixing/modifying. I bought a bass last fall and have really been enjoying that.

And, we moved into my wife's grandma's house in July, to act as a long term caretaker or custodian of the property, so most of my free time has been going into that...bringing the electric and plumbing up to a modern standard, and getting some smallish projects done that have otherwise been neglected for the past 6 or 7 years. Truthfully, most of the work in the house is sorting through 40 years of crap that's simply accrued at the house...a few examples include the thousands upon thousands of family pictures, going back to the 1890's; bins of old clothing; stashes of Christmas gifts that never got wrapped or given; and dozens of pairs of white sneakers.
I lost my phone number. Can I have yours?

Also a diver, certified PADI Dive Master. Own eight guitars that I don't really play anymore. Have restored or rebuilt a fair number of boats and old outboards in the past. Used to go fishing and hiking but now I am mostly a chauffeur for my daughter so she can get to soccer, swimming and music lessons.

Competitive pistol and trap shooting. Golf. Used to race motorcycles. Not much time to do anything else now since I am always on my bike.

In my spare time I'm usually tinkering and resurrecting old power equipment and vehicles or bikes. I also like hunting birds with my dog.

After reading the responses I wonder when you folks find time for all these hobbies! In the summer, cycling consumes a lot of my spare time. I bought a mandolin 2 months ago and have been practicing hard on that. I think I will focus on that this winter and back off a bit on the trainer

Yes, taking over the world takes a chunk out of the day.

    Music, music, music.
Mapie is a conventional looking former Hollywood bon viveur, now leading a quiet life in a house made of wood by an isolated beach. He has cultivated a taste for culture, and is a celebrated raconteur amongst his local associates, who are artists, actors, and other leftfield/eccentric types. I imagine he has a telescope, and an unusual sculpture outside his front door. He is also a beach comber. The Rydster.

I used to do professional rallies, and had a built competition car. After racing myself into bankruptcy, I decided to stick with cycling.

Snowboarding (in-bounds and backcountry) and MTB riding are my main hobbies.

I also play ukulele a bit, wrench on a VW Vanagon, xc ski, lift weights, garden/landscape, camp, cook, listen to music...

I get more afraid and less interested in road biking each year as the population of my town explodes with unsafe drivers.

LOL! It's a Yamaha "Silent" violin.

It has the flexibility to be played similar to a muted traditional fiddle (AKA silent), a traditional fiddle, an amplified fiddle (bridge pickup) or with headphones (silent).

With my skillz, silent is best.

Outside of cycling, pretty much nothing. As a part owner of a business, I've had two jobs for twenty years, so any extra time needs to go to my family.

I do collect beer cans, although I haven't actively participated in that hobby for quite sometime. My collections has over 1,700 different cans, almost all are steel, (so they're all over forty years old) and they sit in my attic.

Flying is an enjoyable hobby. I got my private pilot license decades ago. Back then, a Cessna 152 was $22/hr and that included fuel. A flight instructor would set you back another $15/hr.

I have a desire to get back into it but would need to attend ground school again. So much has changed in terms of airspace rules.

I too model in N scale. Only have a small 5x3 layout, but hopefully in the future I will be able to expand
