I could use the search function

    but I'd rather not.

I have been looking for a good leather belt for a LONG time now. I had a GREAT one for 25 years that gave up the ghost years ago and i ideally I would like to replace it with one just like it. I am perfectly willing to have one custom made. It was 1.5 inches wide, had a single brass ring on one end with a "decorative keeper loop" against the ring on that side, the other end went through the ring from the front, so the tail was under the belt on that side, Then there was a matching "keeper loop" on the other side that slid up against the buckle to hold the belt. I find that belts with buckles with prongs and holes in the leather are NEVER the right size. I have a couple of leads on double "o" ring belts but they are all 1.25 inches and I want 1.5. I have emailed back and forth a couple of times with a custom belt maker in Ohio, but he isn't really understanding what I am describing and would like a picture. WELL.....if i could find a picture.......

The closest I can find are "renaissance" or pirate style that actually tie, I don't want that.

I have stumbled across some of the WORST websites, dead links no real information and even worse (yeah some really KINKY leather goods out there!)

I am not looking for decorating or tooled leather, I need to be able to hold my pants up, comfortably!

Any recommendations short of making it myself, which IS an option if i get the brass ring and the leather.

I sure wish I had saved the old buckle but i lost it
    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

While not as you describe, I have found the almost infinite (for a belt, mind you) adjustment possibilities of this style to be quite useful lately, as I continue to lose weight.

    I get mine at Kohl's.

I won't ask how you've been keeping up your pants for the past several years...lol.

I can find a million double O ring and D rings but not in 1.5 inches, harness or bridal leather and under 100 bucks. The guy I am communicating with is willing to make is BUT he isn't really sure what I am talking about. his double O rings are really nice and like 50 bucks.

You're not angry at me, are you? I'm a sensitive guy.

I never wear a belt. Over the years I've had numerous complements from the ladies on my style of boxer shorts I'm wearing, and now you have me wondering how they knew?

Indeed, I emailed the guy, almost instant response, it is EXACTLY what I want, and ORDERED......whew........52 bucks shipped, custom, hand made in the USA. If I take my time hunting for it into account, it really cost 200 bucks.....LOL

They make older men's jeans with elastic waistbands nowadays, they also have an attachment to hold the adult diaper in place
