Wai... rap has words, I just thought it was cussing with a bit of mumbling. :-)

I like big butts, and fat bottom girls can now be used as substitute songs for Baby it's cold outside. They are considered much more respectful, romantic and playful than Baby...

Well, granted, itís no Gary Puckett and the Union Gap singing the pedophilia anthem

ďYoung girl get out of my mind
My love for you is way out of line.
    Better run, girl.
    Youíre much too young, girl.Ē

"She comes on like a dream
    peaches and cream
    lips like strawberry wine

    You're sixteen
    And you're beautiful
    And you're mine"

    Ugh.

The moment I met you, I swear.
I felt as if something, somewhere,
Had happened to me, which I couldn't see.
And then, the moment I met you, again.
I knew in my heart that we were friends.
It had to be so, it couldn't be no.
But try as hard as I might do, I don't know why.
You get to me in a way I can't describe.
Words mean so little when you look up and smile.
I don't care what people say, to me you're more than a child.
    Oh Clair. Clair ...

If ever a moment so rare
Was captured for all to compare.
That moment is you in all that you do.
But why in spite of our age difference do I cry.
Each time I leave you I feel I could die.
Nothing means more to me than hearing you say,
    "I'm goingÖ
More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has never had a wife he didn't cheat on.

The name stands for "Rhythm and Poetry." While much mainstream rap forgets about the "poetry" part, there's a lot of it out there that doesn't.

As to the original topic, I get that the "Baby Its Cold Outside" lyrics have kinda a date rape vibe, but I am not sure that censoring art/books/music actually results in something positive

Baby it's cold out side, was... baby got back, now... (even that's outdated already).

The good thing about dating high schoolers - I keep getting older but they stay the same age.

Came across this today and thought it apropos:

The list includes some of the ditties that have been discussed as well as a few others I didn't know.

I wonder how text of major religions like the Bible or Quran would hold up to scrutiny? A lot of begattin' in the Book of Genesis considering we start with two peoples not to mention the obeyin' and stonin' spillin' of seed.

History tells us we've been there and done that. You can make the argument that texts like those are the bedrock for the morality that these songs either challenge or espouse.
