Thumbs down I just had a phone solicitor call my cell phone

Ok, it was from my carrier offering me some crappy offer since I'm a "valued customer." How about you not call me on my cell since I'm a "valued customer?"

I got a few calls like that from my last provider. I added their number to my phone book, so the caller ID would identify them, and I never had to deal with them again.

    Who is your carrier?

I've never had this happen and would like to keep it that way.

I used to get spiffy little text messages from Sprint, but they stopped. Maybe because I never responded?

Naw, probably because some po'd cusomter who had to pay for text messages threatened a class-action lawsuit.

Funny how phone companies respond to those sorts of threats...

I got one of these from my carrier, US Cellular. I hung up wrote down the number and waited for my bill at the end of the month. Took it in and chewed some ass for getting the call and told them to take care of it or I d walk. They took half my bill of, I told them if it happened again I d be back, it never happened again.

    I have Sprint.

I used to have AT&T - they were awesome. I could get a signal in a tunnel to the center of the earth. Great customer service. Then they became Cingular. Cingular sucked. So I wound up with Sprint. This is really my first complaint with them.

    www.donotcall.gov

It is now, or soon will be legal for telemarketers to call your cell phone. To prevent this go to www.donotcall.gov Click 'register a phone number' and folllow the instructions carefully. You can register up to three numbers at a time.
    Hope this helps

well, i have had my phone from sprint for a few months, and still get those stupid text messages (not that i ever read them), so i would guess they just gave up on snap, and hopefully they will give up on me too.
