But you guys like the good times, and this years GnomeFest had more than a few of them. There was plenty of trail riding, a wine rack*, streaking, broken bikes, and general tomfoolery. Here's a few shots of my own, and links to the rest:

you take the concept of "fat tires" very seriously, huh?

    beautiful trail.

beautiful glass work. EDIT: wait a f**king minute, that's a hydration bladder. I'm an idjit. Looked like some kind of artsy glass work at first glance.

any hotness factor (partially) offset by poor choice in beer

fire dancing / riding is always cool.

drinking fruity beer is OK only when done while rolling over the log pile no-handed.

Looks like a great time. You coming down for the Breakdown this year?

I love the trails at Levis, I might make it there next weekend.
Unfortunately it was the week before Chwammy and I didn't think I could recover in time. I heard it was lots of fun.

My friends Vicki and Rick were up there. Vicki said "it was drunken debauchery. We had FUN!" I think Levis is the best set of trails in the midwest.

What's the fleshy looking bits at the top? I can probably venture a guess that it's not Lance Armstrong.

I hung out with them a bit. They're both friends on FB as well. It did seem like they were having a good time. I seem to recall running into them giggling alot.

Nice Fat tire. Looks like a good time. Love the piture of Bush beer being poured into a pint glass by someone wearing crocs. Looks like a great weekend. I hide out in the woods on the weekend too, and this reminds me of the Sleepless in the Saddle race we do in Germany. Guys welding the trophies from bike parts as we race. 12 hour race all at night.

Gnome Fest is a dirt centered, beer fueled bacchanal held to celebrate the on going battle with Gnomes. They who dare to make us fall trip and crash in the woods. Some would call it all out slaughter, but when it comes to the safety of our skin and collar bones, what's some scattered gnome blood, right?

I should have made the trip last year when entry was $70. Its $100 + camping this year. That totally prices it out for me{pass that on to the organizers, we put on GnomeFest for a $40 entry fee}. One day, I WILL make it down there to ride those awesome looking trails though!

    dirt!?!?

this thread pertains to my interests...
    poast count +1
But .... a long NNC session and jerkin' the gherkin to some old-school pr0n... not necessarily in that order. Much cheaper than H&B. JustTooBig
mtymxdh is right... you have been scammed my dear. Creakyknees
