    I told my friend about this thread, and she related the story to me of her uncle's similar incident. Apparently he had some kind of stomach bug and not even 1/2 hour after eating a salad he made a poop-- and when he looked, the whole salad was right there floating in the bowl, swimming around like it hadn't even been inside him in the first place.

    True story.

    i saw a leaf at the bottom of a peat profile about 4m (13') buried in organic muck beneath a bog. it was 9,000 years old, radio carbon dated. still looked pretty recognizable, but not necessarily pooped.
