    Just busted my phone

Dang, just dropped my phone and the screen shattered. I wanted to see if I could still use it so I came to the Lownge. I guess it is still functioning moderately but need to replace it now. Any suggestions for a phone protector/case for its replacement? The generic one I had is obviously not cutting the mustard.

Oh yeah, this phone is toast. Want to make sure my next one on the way survives my clumsiness.

On a side note nOOky, condolences on your loss.

I have one of these for my Samsung and it's really sturdy.

FYI, some credit card companies offer cell phone protection as part of the card's perks. My Wells Fargo credit card will give me up to $600 if my phone is lost or stolen:

Soooo... might want to make sure you don't have a credit card with a similar policy before shelling-out cash to get a new phone.

In the meantime, until the new one arrives, enjoy your newfound, albeit temporary, freedom. Walk across an entire room, eat an entire meal, carry on an entire conversation... all without having to check your phone a single time.
