Just dropped by to say hello.

Looks like the board is hopelessly reactionary, as usual. Sigh. Isn't there a progressive in the lot?

What about Clarke? Ho, ho. We got a live one there, guys.

I'm going to add one Democrat to the Senate tally this year. No prob. Details later, OES out --

I knew all of my silent lurking would pay off.

Hell, Ed, even Sintesi has been here of late. Stay a bit....

    Hi Ed,

Hey, I had some Progresso with dinner tonight...does that count?

    Welcome fellow American!

    Ed,

I surfed by that other site that you've been posting on but I've been unable to sign on. I've e-mailed the Big Kahuna without reply. If you have any ins, let him know that there are others out there that'd like to join his site too.

Good to hear from you again.

BTW, what's the weather in the Ft. Knox area like in Nov.? I'll be down there for a few weeks.

    well then, Hello!

same old same old around here. You should keep lurking and read Steam's mailbox contents daily. He's a few steps down on the food chain, but his cut and paste jobs cover the vast right wing conspiracy daily talking points well.

    hey

This forum has really gone downhill. I'm getting really tired of hearing from left wing Bush bashers who feel this is their personal blog, especially those who, as far as I can tell, could barely call themselves cyclists and never contribute anything to the other forums. That, combined with the user-unfriendliness of the new software is a real turn-off to me.

At least you would concede a few points now and then, rather than simply calling Bush an idiot like it was perfectly obvious and undisputable. I get really tired of that crap.

    Nice to hear from you.

    Doug

And when have you ever conceded any points? Sometimes I think Bush could rob a bank and Steam and the gang would find a way to make it a positive.

He mentions 'personal blogs' but ...

the only person on this board who posts reams and reams of personal blog is a raging conservative, and I don't have to name him. In Doug's defense he did used to enjoy the back and forth of real discussion and there's very little of that now. I think the new format discourages it and a lot of people are in *election year mode* anyway as far as how they argue.
