Thumbs up LA Loungers' farewell to lemonlime ride to "The Oinkster"

'cept it was raining today so we drove instead.

    Present and accounted for:

The man of the hour, lemonlime

    Mappy and Roebuck

    Hollywood.

    Me.

We met up at the Oinkster a slow food, cured meats eatery where Range Rover driving hipsters meat.

No. It wasn't raining yet. Started coming down while we were eating. By the time we left the pie hole (wait, what?) it was raining a lot and the streets were flooded.

    Sogno.

    Suck it, aioli!

Hollywood. The beard, not the focus group. And don't tell HW I poasted this, or he'll kill me. But hell, if they can post a pic of him spoon-feeding me pie, he'll just have to HTFU.

    Toilet at Republic of Pie.

Sogno and Mappy, who's the proud new owner of a Lumix 20/1.7.

Of course, that sensational shot of lemonlime that opens the thread was done with the Lumix 20mm 1.7.
Mapie is a conventional looking former Hollywood bon viveur, now leading a quiet life in a house made of wood by an isolated beach. He has cultivated a taste for culture, and is a celebrated raconteur amongst his local associates, who are artists, actors, and other leftfield/eccentric types. I imagine he has a telescope, and an unusual sculpture outside his front door. He is also a beach comber. The Rydster.

Unfortunately, since the case was by a different person, they don't match.
