    Left Coast Lounging

Dinner last night with Il Sogno, Mapei, and Dr Roebuck. Great to connect with folks on this side of the big muddy!
We'll be back soon, there will be more of us, and next time we won't be dropping leaflets.

Last time I saw it was at LenJ's house (twice actually) , I think it went back to Colorado... Then Ca? I seem to remember sending it to MarkS at one point, we had it at Ragbrai too. My signature has 4 hash marks on it I think.

Yeah, I'm booked Friday; ironically I have plans with another Lounger. I was in town today but I was flat out busy. Schedule has been . . . peculiar . . . lately.

Always a pleasure seeing fellow loungers. Whether bicycles are involved or not.
Mapie is a conventional looking former Hollywood bon viveur, now leading a quiet life in a house made of wood by an isolated beach. He has cultivated a taste for culture, and is a celebrated raconteur amongst his local associates, who are artists, actors, and other leftfield/eccentric types. I imagine he has a telescope, and an unusual sculpture outside his front door. He is also a beach comber. The Rydster.

Over the years, I think we have discovered that even though initially it was bicycles that brought us all together, we have an awful lot in common generally speaking!

Yep. My house is gonna look like yours. For a while anyway, until it turns to slush :-)

Yup, he's a good egg, for sure. Still need to get out fishing with him though.
