    Look what I found!

Wild puppies! Can I keep them?

About 1/4 mile from the bottom of the driveway. They weren't the least bit concerned about me stopping the car, rolling down the window, stereo blazing and taking their pictures.

I also saw a beautiful, female coyote on my ride. She was way more skittish!

We saw a fisher the other day, which is rare here. I didn't have my phone, the wife used the digital zoom on her cell and the images sucked.

I thought FEDERAL LAW requires us to call them "kits"... Consider yourself reported.

Not kits, they appeared to be fully assembled!

No, but the people with the driveway 25 feet from them do. So I am not going to tell them about their foxes!

If you titled this thread 'Wild Corgis' you'd get a lot more responses.

I heard a weird noise the other morning after the cat went out--rushed to the back door and saw Casey the Rescue Cat almost nose to to nose with a kit about that size, and his brother a few feet back--this on the deer trail along the edge of the pond, just below the back patio.

I still don't know if it was the cat or the fox making the racket--not the usual howl when spotting an intruder cat...

They are really beautiful in the early light, gamboling through the forest.
