Sometimes I wish my wife would leave me at a gas station in Italy.

I love my wife dearly but I would know instantly if she wasn't in the car. She is the worst backseat driver.

    "you're following to close"
"watch that car to the left"
"the car in front is stopping"
    "how fast are you going"

What was that thing suon posted, about women's voices being "music" to men's ears?
I guess Mr. Macedonia will get a thorough "tuning".

I could understand it if he went to my favorite gas station. Today, on the way home from work, Reg was $2.63.9. And this was at a "cheapo" gas station.
The shock of filling up at that price would shake up anybody.
If your opinion differs from mine, ..........Too bad.

Buying parts to hang on your bike is always easier than getting fit.

My hog will only drink 91 octane, and here in sunny San Diego, the price is above 2.90 at some stations. It may top 3 bucks before the summer is over. Yikes!

Tell me about it. The Mini only wants premium (high compression engine, don't you know), my motorcycle only wants premium, and our truck will take any ol' shite, but wants a ton of it.

While we haven't gotten that high on gas prices in the DC area, we're getting there. Luckily, we don't use any of our motor vehicles much, and the Mini and bike have smallish tanks since they get good mileage.

Filling up any of the vehicles is enough to encourage me to do more "not non-cycling."

This thread reminds me of a couple of guys that were driving around and needed to gas up the vehicle. It wasn't a particularly large town and the choices were somewhat limited. They drove to a gas station that had a sign out front that said free sex with fill-up. The driver pulled in and asked the attendant about the free sex, and was told that all he had to do was pick a number from one to ten and if correct he would win. After being asked to pick his number he chose seven (his lucky number) and was told by the attendant that he was sorry but the correct number was eight. The attendant then asked the other guy if he wanted to venture a guess and he chose six. The attendant said damm!tt I told you it was eight. The driver who was somewhat miffed sped away and stated to his friend that the free sex was probably all a bunch of BS anyway. His friend sad no way; my wife has been there twice this week and she won both times!
