I had to call Johan and beg off due to this ongoing uncooked pork dumpling thing.
You'd be better off with a netbook, they do everything better.

He said something about "the best brisket raviolis in the world" in his blog.

    Crap.

I'm in Northern Vermont on a fishing trip and could have scooted up the Montreal no problem to see this (and would love too)......but I didn't think I'd want any poutine so I left me passport at home.

Is this an annual thing? I'll definitely go next year if so.

I may go sunday, if I don't have anything else better. I prefer riding my bike than watch people ride theirs

Those shots on the website reminded me how long it has been since I have been in Quebec City--and how drop-dead gorgeous it is.

That QC circuit through the old town takes you on and off the escarpment of the St. Lawrence and it looks outstanding. The Montreal circuit with that climb (or variations thereof) has been used for a lot of cycling events (my brother raced in the Cdn nationals there back in the day), and it gets more amazing every time they can get political buy-in to stage a major cycling event in the downtown of a city. Also an outstanding circuit.

I looked on the CBC website--it looks like there's no streaming of the event...

    Should be some awesome racing!
