    More work

Spent the day playing with concrete again, picked up 15 bags of mix, mixed up and poured 13 of them. Oh, and I am sick as a dog, baby sat for a germ crusted grand daughter last weekend.

Inquiring minds want to know--how big were the bags?

That way we can decide how manly you are!

(And in the 'work never stops' department, I finally got back to my master bedroom project, did a final touchup on the drywall this week and actually rolled primer yesterday. Ceiling looks good--did I mention how much I hate taping and filling?)

Get well soon--the work is waiting for you!

Bags are 60 pounds dry, not too bad, my wife actually mixed it, it's her mixer, I bought it for her!

    I despise drywall work!

for reference, the pipe is threaded into a coupling and 1.24" nipple with bar going through it to anchor a railing (which will thread down into it) By code we don't need a railing, but my mom does when she comes over and we aren't getting any younger

A cement mixer! Who says romance is dead??

John recently got me my own axe so I can keep perfecting my wood-splitting technique. But we could use a concrete mixer. Would be nice to put in a small path for the front lawn so the mailman doesn't have to tromp across the lawn to the neighbor's house (when he's feeling lazy.)
