    Most revoltingly hetero band ever?

Equal time for the breeders, folks. I'm embarrassed that I can't think of a really good example, but I'm sure y'all will help me out.

The key is not just to pick an annoyingly hetero song, but a band whose entire persona most obnoxiously exemplifies a stereotype of heterosexuality.

    Here's my opening volley:

    Wow.

I see stuff like that now and it just surprises me how much a part of the metal scene stuff like that was back then. You almost didn't notice it. Now I see it and it makes me laugh - Spinal Tap was spot on.

Spinal Tap was funny then, but even funnier now, looking back. No small feat to lampoon the time you're in, and do it in a way that outlasts those you're making fun of.....

I'm surprised no one has mentioned rap music. Hyper-masculine aggression, sophomoric humor, all covered with profanity and misogyny.

Despite having a gay lead singer Judas Priest always came off as very hetero to me.

    +1000.

I was just telling a friend yesterday how I had a thing for Ms.Hynde back in the day. She was (and still is IMO) darn sexy. Listen to "Precious" and tell me she doesn't have it goin' on. Chrissie at her bad-girl best

Still one of my top 5 bands-especially their first album. They lost some of that edge when Honeyman-Scott and Farnden died.

    Must agree with one exception:
    "rap music" is an oxymoron.
Oh, wait... let me translate one word...

    Starland Vocal Band

    afternoon delight

Pretenders? I thought this was 'revoltingly hetero'
I found nothing revolting about the Pretenders
and agree, the first 2 albums were frickin some of the best music to come from the 80s
James Honeyman Scott and Chrissie knew how to make 2 guitars work

    Muscular,Sexy and Feminine

I thought about that for the OP, but then again the amount of mic time Snoop and Dre spend fantasizing about oral sex with Easy E made me wonder whether there's something they're not telling us...
