    nnc of sorts

If I had any sense at all, I would take a rest day. my legs are just shredded. The upside is that I only cramped up once last night. Yesterday was not long or fast or a lot of asscending, BUT I was pulling my grand daughter in the Burley in a 15 mph wind. (essentially an aluminum framed parachute) I have ridden 55 of the past 56 days.

However, chances are pretty good that I won't take a day off unless it rains.

So like what...you went to the garage to get a couple screws for your latest project and "accidentally" slipped and fell onto one of your bikes? 28 miles later you finally managed to extricate yourself?

More like he got into the bourbon... came-to 14 miles from home and thought... ‘guess I better ride home’...

You sir are still tougher than me!

I'm still on the 'every second day' program, even though we are into August...

Maybe you need a second hobby--have you considered needlepoint?

I have a second hobby, keeping my house warm. HOWEVER, it was 94 today when I was riding with a 20 mph breeze out of the SW.

No sir, I didn't even consider working on firewood!

It was just a short ride.... Like 20 miles?

The good thing is his daily attire is bibs instead of overalls... so it works out well

With your attention to detail, you need a 3rd hobby... home brewing.

I'm kind of surprised with your metal skills you haven't built a jig and made your own frame, just for fun. Know you love the Waterford, but hey, TouchOGray frames... for the 'seasoned' rider.. We can market this :-)

It may well be bibs...but it seems likely they are Carhartt brand.

I fully intend to build a frame, one of my very good friends is the lead engineer at a little bike company down the road with a lot of building experience and friends in the right places. (I need to get the lugs and tubing, he knows who, how and where.) I am good enough with a torch, I really believe that!.

    And........

Today was a rest day. Rain all night and all morning, cleared in the afternoon, but I had some repairs on the garage that I had been putting off for a couple of years. 60 out of 61 days will remain my record for years I imagine. Tomorrow's is supposed to be beautiful. Aiming for 50.

I've got zero miles the past 3 weeks. Last week was so fricken' hot. I've been running, but mostly I come home and work on building my shed. I work until about 7 after a 9 hour day at work, and the days are getting shorter fast now. Going to get out this weekend finally though, it will be beautiful here.
