I took a shot of my Lounge glass with some Founder's Breakfast Stout and the logo hardly showed up in the shot. You know, for you guys, I just might have to experiment again.

Vaughn, it's probably time to bring the garden hose in for the winter. Been a balmy 30-ish around here lately. Cold enough to snow, warm enough to not stick. After that last episode, I'm good with that.

Right. But I read the Prius won't make it to route 1 without a little help. I suggested snow tires. But she may already have them anyway.

I live in Maryland. It would be ludicrous to get snow tires for the one big snow we get every five years.

I know what Route 1 signifies. You did designate Route 1 didn't you in your privious posts? Well, Route 1 is a coastal route. That means you're not in the mountains. I wrote "okay" to mean, okay.

    Okay?

Wow. I wasn't being snotty with you. I had no idea if you knew where Route 1 was or not.

    Sorry.

    Sorry.
I live off Route 1 on the shore. It snows, ...it snows allot and it's Connecticut. I had to look up Maryland.

You would have a field day with the camera - it's very, very pretty.

    NNC Snow Observation:

The cross bike with skinny tires works pretty good in the deep, unplowed snow.

The fat tire bike works better on the plowed streets, however. I am experimenting with tire pressure on the mountain bike. I weigh around 200 lbs, - figure 215 with coat, clothes, boots - and I'm running about 35 lbs of pressure in both tires. Probably too high. I may bleed the rear down to about 30 and the front to about .... 25? The front keeps washing out and I have to make a series of hilarious swerves across the street to catch the bike.

Fun to play with a bike in the snow. Your Kung Fu has to be very good - smoothness over speed, grasshopper.

Vaughn -- great pics. But where are you?
Mapie is a conventional looking former Hollywood bon viveur, now leading a quiet life in a house made of wood by an isolated beach. He has cultivated a taste for culture, and is a celebrated raconteur amongst his local associates, who are artists, actors, and other leftfield/eccentric types. I imagine he has a telescope, and an unusual sculpture outside his front door. He is also a beach comber. The Rydster.

That would be two too many head strong individuals in the same house hold.

Any Pointers or Labs in your closets? I'd even settle for a Shepard or even a smart bird.
