My sister and her business partner used to breed exotic birds in FL, she has some stories too...

Personally, you see the picture of my Lab......I am SO glad she doesn't talk TOO.....

Really? Before moving to Franklin when Girchy and I got married, I used to ride from Indy to Whitestown all the time. I'm sorry I never saw you and Apache. He's gorgeous. Glad you have such a good friend!

We live at the cross section of the 65 and 465 (just north of the Starbuck's) and during warmer weather we will ride out to Carmel for a lunch at the Jersey Cafe on Meridian or the Paradise Bakery in the mall or at Ted's Montana Grille at Trader's Point. Maybe we will see you in the spring.....

He is a fixture in the area that we live and often meets with some of his friends at Starbucks for a Chai Tea Latte, at McDonalds for a Sausage McMuffin, at Taco Bell for a customized crunchy taco, or at Burger King for a small burger, and we generally get in at least a couple hours of outdoor activity a day except in winter. He also enjoys breaking pennies into several pieces for the kids who meet him for lunch. (No kidding.... six to ten pieces....)

He is amazingly smart and affectionate, and my truely my best friend since my wife passed away.

My little buddy Warren (aka "W", "Dubby", or "Squawker"); she is a cockatiel all the way from Hawaii ... I inherited her from my girlfriend's grandfather a little over two years ago and she has quickly become my best friend. I always leave the cage open and she flies over around the same time every morning and wakes me up ;)

He's a Spinone Italiano and I am a fan of the man's cars. I really don't know much about the man. I think your Enzo is more appropriately named speed-wise. Mine is all feet (and appetite).

IG's can be quite fun little clowns! A riding buddy/team mate fostered several plus her own that were fun to play with when we had club meetings at their house.

That's so cool to see. Back before doggy wheels (we call them chariots!), they had to put them down. Now, they get to live many extra years of quality spoiling!

    Exclamation

Of the cats still with us we have there's Ulysses (Uli), Nano and Socrates (Soci). Uli and Soci are littermates and Nano is one we got just before we got those two - basically a rescue from a cold or violent death more or less.

All about one year old, ridiculously healthy and a little too energetic.

Recently departed we have Boodgie and in 2010 Kiki. RIP kitties.

We had the dna analyzed on our "German Shepherd" puppy after when he started growing he started to look less and less like one. Turns out he's about 1/2 GSD, 1/3 Newfie, and some Greyhound. Still trying to find the Greyhound in him.
    He's now a fluffy 60lb shoe-devouring terror.

For my nephew's birthday this week, sent him a copy of "Alex and Me," which shares his name. It's a story of a woman who did research with Alex the African Grey for 30+ years, proving to the world that they are smarter than simply repeating things- they can count and use words/phrases without any prompting, for example.

    Very amusing stories!

Meanwhile, another of my cat and a pile of my sister's cats:
