    the older I get

the more this song means to me, truly, words to live by.

    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

Nice song. More like "words to die by".
    Insert something clever here:

Insert list of every bike I own here:

so far..it's been to live by for me, not necessarily without bandages or plaster however. I think I was 6 or 7, I designed and built myself a parachute out of kleenex. My test jump was down a flight of stairs. I spent that summer in a plaster of paris boot!

for reference, Guy Clark built all his own guitars, he was a Luthier FIRST! AND....a superior songwiter!

    A good one for sure.

The older I get, the more desperados waiting for the train gets me.

I was listening to Guy Clark most of the day yesterday, he really was one of the greats of all times.

This has been rolling around in my head all afternoon, and it occurred to me that the boy could use this particular homily.

So i sent it to him.

He's well on the way to success, working on monsterously large earthmoving equipment, taking care of his girls, and just started night school.

I'm not sure how most of us live past 17, really. Trust your capes.

T0g, I hope one day I get to buy you a beer.

I have ridden and had food and libations with probably 70 Loungers over the years, you should be on that list too.. Funny how bicycles brought us all together only to find out how much other stuff we have in common.

Come back to Penna. We can drink wine i made, eat food from the grill, and discuss wood butchery.

Also I have local beer on tap.

Wait til it is not cold though.
