    A portrait of our eldest.

A cat pic, of our 17 year old cat... that's in the 80s for a cat lifespan.

I love her eyes, and her crossed paws attitude. She abides, she persists, and so should you.

Such a regal cat! She must be the queen of the house.

Our 5 kitties approve.....Jean Luc, Tilly, Fiona. Louis, and Tig.

My eldest cat, Erda, turns 17 this year, and she still bosses our younger tortoise-shell/tabby who is 7 years younger and twice her size.

I'm not a cat person, but probably would be if I didn't have terrible allergies. She looks regal and wise. Very nice picture and cat!

Poised like a proper queen should be and knows she's the ruler of the house!

    She is definitely regal.

In the sense that she expects her servants to anticipate her desires. She does NOT ask. She just appears, and we must figure out what she wants. Which is sometimes nothing.

Our other cats ask, they are very good at it. They understand "sorry" means no, "just a minute" means very soon... maybe they understand "later". She just expects proper service at all times. I mean I know she understands those words, but they don't apply to her.

Oh, almost 8. She will want treat puzzle game, so she can then move into the sun spot 5 feet away from the game and spend the next hour moving slightly to stay in the sun.

She is the best snuggler though, so we don't mind making her happy in any way we can.

She will spoon, AND let us rub her belly at the same time.

"Let us," is what I love about cats, as they pick who they love and who they don't. You're honourably loved by your cat. A true classy act.
