Been using this forum for 10 years. The forum now is 99% useless. Nobody really posts good information in the actual bike related subforums. When anyone asks a question, they get useless/smartass responses which make them not want to post here anymore.
Only the politics subforum circlejerk gets new threads regularly, but wtf, on a cycling forum? Go on reddit or get a life.
I'm over on weight weenies mostly and replies are much more useful.

hmmm, a less-than-prolific poster complaining about the lack of posts...

RIP RBR. You had a good run while it lasted.

I thought I had breathed new life into this forum by asking for a new thread. Lots of useful tidbits in there....pizza, ladies who pass gas and deny it....good stuff, meaningful stuff. Kind of like Yahoo news but classy.

I have to admit I'm one of the people that also thinks something should be done to put cycling to the forefront of this place and not PO... like a way to easily hide PO in "new posts" list without having to get some 3rd party tool.
That said, I think some of the sour grapes from OP come from the responses he got in this thread:
https://forums.roadbikereview.com/sa...ht-368793.html
At the end of the day, if you don't agree with a post that doesn't mean it's useless, and if you can't understand a decent point somebody might be making... well that might be your own fault.
And you gotta let things go like water off a duck's back even when people are a little aggro in their responses. Hmm, maybe I should put up another post about how compact cranks are unnecessary so I can practice what I preach.

PO isn’t the problem. The problem is that about 98% of RBR traffic are lurkers who seldom or never contribute anything.
Far as PO goes, it’s a madhouse, but at least ppl there post.

One of my first back pain radiating to abdomen came to me in student clinic. Lean athletic guy healthy as a horse in every respect except for occasional severe back/abdominal pain on left side. He had been to several MD’s and had full work up including X-ray with no conclusive diagnosis. We ordered MRI which was new tech (back in the late 80’s). No need for prior authorization then as insurance paid everything even with $hitty insurance!
MRI revealed 3rd residual kidney located adjacent to left psoas. Congenital anomaly that became symptomatic over time. He had surgery to remove kidney and 100% recovery.
You need proper imaging and a real Doc!
You wanna see some anatomic anomalies, check out PO. Tons of people there have their heads up their asses.
(Actually, it really is a cesspool, I can't recommend it...and I'm the moderator. }
If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Maybe OP doesn't like to search topics. When I started reading this forum, I almost always found helpful info on x, y, z just by searching.

I thought exercise was a great medium between folkes. Then you go to P.O. as it's the most active.

Whenever the legislators endeavour to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence - John Locke

Actually that was a tack.
Wait I guess that’s why people don’t post here anymore.

Coming about is turning across the wind with the wind at the bow
Jibing is turning across the wind with the wind astern
When jibing, the movement of the boom in a fore and aft rig is quick and forceful, and if you are in the way you’ll get knocked around or knocked overboard.
