    Ready for Launch...

    Thirty-seven weeks.

Could be any day now. Or another five weeks. Either way, the nose cone is attached and ready for launch.

Had an impromptu kiddo-centric pump track party on the unusually warm day yesterday. Enjoyed watching lil' Slagathor kick up his legs on his bike. Listened to him tell everyone that when his baby brother comes out, he's going to share his birthday cake with him (the due date is Slaggy's birthday).

It's a little crazy that what starts off as an 'O' face ends up with me growing an entire human in my belly. This having kids thing is weird.

    So. Awesomely. Weird.

I was wondering how close you were.

Good luck. Nothing in life is like that first view of your child.

First.......yay Cat..... go, go, go, go

And Len, I found something that comes REAL close.....watching your first child with her first child. When they look in each others eyes, there is electricity in the air!

My Gawd, cat, you look great! yer bigger than my wife the day she gave birth last month!! And she made it to 41 weeks...at least we think so.

Is it easier to miss all that sleep the second time around, too?? I've never gone 35 days without a night's sleep before, and I can't imagine doing so again...but they say everything's easier the second time.

    Noice!

Big brother looks, well, big. And happy. The pooch looks happy, Mom looks happy,

Hey, it's one big happy family!!

I am really looking forward to that......I won't put pressure on them, but I sure would like it.

Slaggy will be fine with it for now. But I say give him a couple years and let the shitstorm begin.

    Congrats and good luck, mama.

Yeah. It'll be hard to top getting him a baby for his birthday.

The baby has a sweet train set ready to give him. We're hoping the subtle association between "baby brother" and "sweet train set" gives us a few days before the sibling rivalry sets in.

clever plan...i will have to remember that to tell my kids.

My 4 kids got/get along incredibly well, they have always been best friends....the older they get the closer they get too!

Well....except that time Dr. Jenny was pi$$ed at Polyester (baby sister) and told her there was no Santa Clause AND she was adopted all on the same day...LOL

Apparently my parents were doing it wrong. I was born on July 5th.

    Congrats Cat.

Now you get to learn how to play man-to-man defense.

My sister has three chiilins and she and her husband had to learn how to play zone.

Right? There's no way I could fit it into a pair of shorts these days--you know, unless elastic was involved.
