I was using Quicken 2007, but when I upgraded my Mac OS, Quicken 2007 was no longer functional because it was incompatible with the new OS. I knew this in advance so it was no surprise.

I initially chose the latest Quicken software at its "Starter" level package, but it won't let me record my stock transactions unless I upgrade my Quicken package. Quicken no longer sells one-time purchase software but annual subscriptions instead.

I'm not crazy about it but before I hit the upgrade button, I thought I'd ask for a recommendation on any other financial software packages out there. I'd prefer one-time purchase software, but if you told me to stick with Quicken, I'd consider that too.
