    Screwed

And I don't even OWN a lounge jersey!

But this was the cause of my flat this 5:30 am. It also finished off breaking my fender.

I had a pretty good run for a while.

If you've got coins puncturing your tires, then it may be time for a new set.

Oh, and be careful w/that screw- it could cause a pretty bad flat, too.

Nope, slashed through the entire tire. It's done. I rode the remaining 25 miles on a big boot -- whump whump whump.

It was 5:30 in the morning, like I said, still quite dark. I had lights, but, I was busy keeping my eyes ahead. Tacoma is an "exciting" place to ride, this is a no-shoulder, 40mph road, limited streetlights, chip seal, a few nasty holes. Only so much room to maneuver.

I figured as much. But I've run over stuff like that and pinch flatted because it was so big and I didn't see it in time to unweight that wheel.

Even with a light that makes night into day, it's amazing what you run over commuting. Nice story though.

    Pinch flats

This 140 lb rider has pinch-flatted once. Evar. Huzzah!
