Several Local Schools Closed For "Deep Cleaning"

    Gigglefarts!

Many of our parents were horrible people!

Not only do schools close today if enuff of student/staff call in ill, they have a specialty service come in to sanitize all hard surfaces. When I was a kid, we got saw dust thrown on a kid's puke until the janitor could mop it up with the same mop that'd been sitting in yesterday's water.

Back to school the next day.

At the same time ... kids are no longer allowed to bring nuts or PBJ's to school for lunch due to allergic reactions.

Heck, in my wife's school, people are not allowed to eat Cheeto's due to one person having a severe allergy to Cheeto's. Even several classes before or after will have severe affects on that student.

Times have changed ... no doubt about that.

I don't think he is wrong, I also however don't think his statement represents all school districts.

There are some flights I have been on where they announced that no peanut or peanut products are to be brought on board, but that is also on a case by case basis based on the passengers of those flights. Delta does this on the rare occasions that another passenger is deathly allergic.

Umm, my wife is a TEACHER ... not to hard to figure out if you read my post. She's also a Union rep for her school, so there is that also.

I guess, the picture below sums up your post!
