Love to see it when completed.. I like..

Personally, I've been throwing some ideas on a 'modified scrotum piece' but can't quite seem to nail anything down. (Yes - scrotum and nail in the same sentence) See, I can't quite get over the idea that I'd be 'out of commission' for as long as it takes to heal, that is unless my tattoo artist offers happy endings.

Looks like you could stand to lose 30 lbs or so?

This reminds me of a show winning donk, a brilliantly crafted execution of a totally stupid idea. Of course it's your body and your money so go right ahead but don't be surprised if people laugh and point.

    Not for nothing

I wondered from the start if the tattoo pictured is in fact the OP.

It could be some legs are being pulled...

Not really a fan of tattoos or large tattoos for that matter, but from strictly a art/graphic design perspective it's good (but then again I like their logo). The tattooist looks like he knows what's he's doing.

I am completely baffled as to why people want to put permanent drawings on their bodies. It has to be near the top of the list of STUPID things to do.

I would have to ask; is the artwork you had on your walls when you were 20 the same artwork you have at 30, at 40, at 50? Have you kept the same bumper stickers on your car for decades? Well, that stupid tattoo will be there your entire life and at some point you will ask yourself WTF was I thinking!!!

And some people are also completely baffled as to why people are so critical of them when it's their choice anyway and they don't ridicule others' choices as being stupid.

Personally not a fan of tattoos but I reserve my choice to myself.

    Just saying.

Well, to counter your point - a tattoo tribute to a loved one, or a lost loved one, would mean something for life and that's something they'd want all their lives I suppose. Nothing stupid about that at all. Just a way (their way) of keeping the memory alive.

Because the OP opened the post with..."let me know what you think"...so I let him know what I was thought. And yes, I think all tattoos are stupid, even those dedicated to family members, loved ones and dead people.

I am a fan of Tattooing and have been for many years before it was popular to get one. the artist at least looks proficient at his craft and is doing a good job. The tattoo is clean, centered and composed well. The 25 hours has me baffled though, either the artist is very anal retentive or you have a low pain threshold and take a lot of breaks. I have many tattoos including a back piece with more shading and color than that. It took 3, 8 hour sittings to complete. I have a large memorial tattoo on my right thigh of my Mom and Dad that takes up the whole outside of my thigh. This piece took 6.5 hours straight through with one break for Del Taco at hour 4. I just don't see the outline, shading and color to this point taking 25 hours. I hope your not paying the artist by the hour.

Nope. Given being "furloughed" and that my last raise was rescinded due to budget woes, certain luxury spending has been curtailed.

I have plans, but nothing beyond that.
