    What should I do tomorrow?

Since it's so slow here I thought I'd start an inane thread of my own.

I shifted from my ski season 32-hour work schedule back to a 40-hour week a couple months ago. It's starting to wear on me though so I thought maybe I'd take tomorrow (Friday) off.

The problem is that the weather is supposed to be kinda crummy. In fact, a winter weather advisory has been issued although I suspect it will just be chilly and damp, maybe a few flurries. So a bike ride is probably out of the question.

I did a thorough spring cleaning of the house and yard recently so there's really no chores to do either.

I could come to work and make some $.

    Thoughts?

I know that all too well. I also have a hot tub.

My wife hates it when I day drink though. I'm not sure what her problem is.

A winter weather advisory and snow flurries in June?

I would spend the day packing and move somewhere else.

Well hell...get your wife to stay home, get in the hot tub with her, day drink together, and then move on to extracurriculars. Thatís a pretty damn good day! 😁

LOL, yeah, sometimes I think about that. I'm in Montana for the snowboarding though.

That sounds good and all but someone needs to pay the bills.

In all seriousness, her office really needs to staff-up, she's overloaded at work lately. Even under the best-case scenario it's difficult for her to take unscheduled time off and it's a complete non-starter this summer.

But she did take me out to dinner after our MTB ride last night since she's been racking up so much overtime! She even said, "go ahead and get that $11/glass beer. I'm paying".

I've never been one to have a beer before lunch. But my wife and I were in New Orleans this spring, and we kept seeing signs and tee shirts with the slogan that, "You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning." It's so obvious now that I think about it. So there we were, with beers in our hands, on Sunday morning, sitting on the steps in front of the LA Supreme Court, listening to music - where else besides NOLA?
