when the "spit" hits the fan

Garmin is down, close to 24 hours now. Rumors are circulating about a ransomeware attack, I am SOOOOOOO glad I lied about my birthdate and have all of my ride (since 2006, over 1500 of them) logged elsewhere as well.
    Of course I'm sure...that doesn't mean I'm right.....

I have to say as inconvenient at it my be, I have over 1500 activities logged on connect, HOWEVER, I have never trusted any single means of storing data and have always been a firm believer in redundancy in backup. I have all my data backed up in multiple places on premise and an external off site. As far as I am concerned, Save the files, blow the server side away and start fresh, I can re-upload and am perfectly willing to do so. 10 million is a lot of money
