    Won't You Be My Neighbor?

Saw this tonight. Brought a bandana knowing I'd cry like a full-blown nerd throughout.

Never thought of myself as a fan, but grew up on the reruns, and now appreciate his dedication to a vision.

Some real surprises from the show's crew and behind-the-scenes info. I guess all that time spent as a Navy Seal had an effect on his private life, huh.

Seriously, though, this movie is a highly refreshing dose of sincerity and sweetness, even during the turbulent late-sixties through to 9/11.

I'm looking forward to this movie along with 'Generation Wealth' when it hits the theatre.

As I get older, my cinematic tastes has changed from feature films to documentaries.

    .
If the movie states he was a Navy Seal, that' questionable. His bio page (and WiKi) doesn't mention this.

This movie is the perfect antidote to the current political climate. Just so nice.

Also looking forward to the movie about his life. And another movie based on a real person, Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot. This has been in the works for over a decade, could swear I heard that Robin Williams wanted to produce it or something.

It's the story of an alcoholic-turned-quadrapalegic-turned-cartoonist. John Callahan was no Bill Watterson or Gary Larson, but had his own twisted style and cult following. Always liked his comics!
