Every year the Lake Dennison region goes threw it's flooding cycle and the lower level trails can get flooded out pretty deep. Once the water starts to return to normal levels the plates of ice start to break up. As long as the temps are cold the ice plates are still safe to ride on. But with warmer temps it's a little more risky. Being that I play on these trails all year long I know how high the ice plates are above the normal trail height, and will proceed accordingly. Just a different world out here during winter.
