So weird he'd rather lie than do all that bragging.

The best deal on the best hotel.

And yes, given that the man will exaggerate anything if he thinks it helps his image and brand, why wasn't he bragging about his plans to build the biggest, bestest hotel.

The easiest, most logical and obvious answer doesn't require ignoring and contorting the known facts. Trump is trying to hide something.

    Good point.

Do they give out prison sentences for civil things? Hmmmm...

Michael Cohen comes clean in court:

I want to be clear. I blame myself for the conduct which has brought me here today, and it was my own weakness, and a blind loyalty to this man that led me to choose a path of darkness over light. It is for these reasons I chose to participate in the elicit [sic] act of the President rather than to listen to my own inner voice which should have warned me that the campaign finance violations that I later pled guilty to were insidious.

Recently, the President Tweeted a statement calling me weak, and he was correct, but for a much different reason than he was implying. It was because time and time again I felt it was my duty to cover up his dirty deeds rather than to listen to my own inner voice and my moral compass. My weakness can be characterized as a blind loyalty to Donald Trump, and I was weak for not having the strength to question and to refuse his demands.
More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has never had a wife he didn't cheat on.

And a double whammy to Trump. A 2nd source cooperating with immunity confirming Trump is a liar and violated campaign finance laws. Just how much from David Peckers vault will he share?

"The U.S. attorney's office in New York says it won't prosecute the National Enquirer's parent company over its efforts to suppress an embarrassing story about Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The agreement was announced Wednesday shortly after former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison.

Cohen's crimes included working with American Media Inc. to buy the silence of a model who says she had an affair with Trump. The president denies the affair.

Like Cohen, the tabloid publisher admitted it was trying to influence the election by protecting Trump from a damaging story.

As part of the deal, AMI acknowledged it made a $150,000 payment to the model "in concert" with the Trump campaign with the intent of influencing the election.

It requires AMI to cooperate with federal prosecutors in any investigation."

Constitutional law experts slam Trump's lies

This was written by Kellyanne Conway's husband and Trevor Potter (former Republican Chairman of the FEC). It completely dismantles the talking points pushed by Trump and his groupies.
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlo...=.05cedaa209ac

The case against the president would be far stronger than the case against John Edwards
the campaign finance violations here are among the most important ever in the history of this nation — given the razor-thin win by Trump and the timing of the crimes, they very well may have swung a presidential election.

Why is Cohen so contrite, wallowing in his humility? He talks like the 7 year old kid who stole the cookie jar, too it outside, and shared it with his friends. His tome is carefully crafted to elicit sympathy, working for a great man, not realizing the error of his ways, until it was too late!

I mean, is this not the standard defense of money crimes? Cohen was already into cheating the government out of taxes, in partnership with a Russian running a taxi business. He freewheeled against the law, like Manafort, but when exposed, felt guilty and surrendered.

Manafort apparently didn't feel guilty. His "accomplishments" were much more impressive than Cohen's, both professionally and financially. He stuck it out, apparently didn't give Mueller what he was looking for, and got a prison sentence. Cohen tried to save his neck, including self flagellation in his "confession," and the judge didn't fall for it. He's gonna do time, too. Oops.

Yet another part of the Steele dossier gets some confirmation.

Cell signal puts Cohen outside Prague around time of purported Russian meeting
A mobile phone traced to President Donald Trump’s former lawyer and “fixer” Michael Cohen briefly sent signals ricocheting off cell towers in the Prague area in late summer 2016, at the height of the presidential campaign, leaving an electronic record to support claims that Cohen met secretly there with Russian officials, four people with knowledge of the matter say.

Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer, to testify publicly before Congress
President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen will testify before the House Oversight Committee, the first major move by House Democrats to haul in a member of Trump's team connected to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, according to a schedule published by the committee.

Cohen has agreed to testify publicly before the panel on February 7, according to a statement from Cohen.
"I thank Michael Cohen for agreeing to testify before the Oversight Committee voluntarily," said Oversight Chairman Elijah Cummings, a Democrat from Maryland, in a statement. "I want to make clear that we have no interest in inappropriately interfering with any ongoing criminal investigations, and to that end, we are in the process of consulting with Special Counsel Mueller's office."

Cohen's scheduled testimony and the likelihood that Mueller may issue his report in Feb will be a one-two punch of epic proportions for Trump.

he should probably erect his wall around the White House instead of on the southern border...

Why would anyone think blacks wouldn't understand? They get the knowledge from their parents and their own life experiences. Answer this: why are so many young males killing each other in Chicago? What's their problem? I'd guess some serious spiritual desolation there. Where does that come from? Now we have something to talk about.

Reply - I have nothing to say.

The most likely effect of Fred trying to explain anything to anyone is that they would understand he was out of his mind. How else could they explain how he is repeatedly beat over the head with facts yet continues to live in his twisted alternate reality?

Why would a man that uses the fact that he's a germophobe, to dismiss a pee tape report, have unprotected sex with a porn star? Doesn't that make his whole phobia argument rather weak? Also the details of the room drop off which Trump's bodyguard denied were exactly the same as when Trump boofed Stormy. I think the pee tape exists.
When is Cohen speaking to congress?
