Coming soon to a Sanctuary City near you.

I thought it must have been a joke.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/12/trum...ry-cities.html

By now I should have known better.

President Donald Trump on Friday insisted that his administration is still actively considering a plan to release detained immigrants into so-called “sanctuary cities.”

The strategy was rejected twice in the past year by the Department of Homeland Security.

“Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only,” the president wrote in a post on Twitter.

The Trump Troll party will be gleeful about this but reasonable people see antics like this as yet further evidence that Trump is garbage.

It puts Trump* in the position of:

A.) Admitting that these immigrants are mostly refugees just looking for a better life and a path to citizenship.

    -or-

B.) Admitting that he’s planning to dump “murderers and rapists” (as he’s categorized them in the past) on sanctuary cities.

    Which is it, Donnie*???

Hey, they wanted to be sanctuary cities.

Tell those mayors to man up. Choices have consequences.

Whenever the legislators endeavour to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence - John Locke

Indeed, choices have consequences. Let's repeal the Rural Electrification Act and send Andy and all the rural "socialism we don't understand is evil" crowd back into the dark ages of candles.

It’s hilarious that people on the right think this is some sort of punishment. The cities want (and indeed depend on) immigrants and most of the folks they are supposedly dropping off would have ended up in the same cities anyways.

And those that don't...they'd probably either work for Republicans in Republican states in agriculture, or in the building trades.

I feel bad for the children that are moved. According to Candace Owens if ICE held them they'd be in a building and have access to arts and crafts, a Zumba class, a library, volleyball and basketball courts, a foosball table, a soccer field, a hair salon, 24 medical care, phones, PCs, a convenience store, and “a ton of cash”. And cages of course... lots of cages. But still Zumba!

    That's right.

Trump is finally giving sanctuary cities what they want. Instead of open arms, the leftists dream up dumb fantasies that Trump wants to personally lavish criminals on Nancy Pelosi's doorstep.

    Da Man does it again!

The Obama administration had a test program that released asylum seekers to family and/or friends that lived in the states. 90+% showed up for their hearing.

Unfortunately Trump is not trying to do this. He wants to burn millions in taxpayer funds to shuttle Asylum seekers around the U.S. because he thinks it will "Trigger the libs". While his deplorable followers will be gleeful about this waste of taxpayer money reasonable people, swing voters, are disgusted by his stupid games.

Mr. President just say it like you really mean it --- use the word Plantation, not Sanctuary.
I am 100% convinced the internet and social media are not the salvation to human civility.

Trump is setting up his 2020 strategy. He knows he can't win with his current popularity status. He's not gaining votes from dems or independents.

His only hope for victory is to expand his base and get more deplorables to come out and vote for him, many of whom did not vote in 2016.

While you may not like his strategy, it appears to be his only path to victory and he just may pull it off. The dems seem to have a habit of snatching defeat from the arms of victory and we already see this happening with their attacks on Biden.

Even Obama warned of far left purity tests as the road to defeat.

Do you advocated for the mass murder of all refugees or just brown ones?

It was an observation. No emotion was involved in pointing out the fact of what you were saying. You seem to be misreading my emotional state.

Given your user name, this leads to some obvious follow up questions. Not that such questions would be appropriate here, but a few come to mind.

Great idea! Chances are, the migrant's relatives already in the US are in or close to sanctuary cities.

I'm for perma-banning you for violating RBR (and not PO) rules.
More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has never had a wife he didn't cheat on.
