Talking Dewey defeats Truman the Smoking Gun is there...

You have to laugh when Rupert and his cronies can be this wrong.

Almost as funny as Drudge assuring readers that Hillary was to get the spot.

    The Post was set up!

NYC is the largest media market. The NY Post is one of the largest right-leaning (and certainly anti-Kerry) media outlets in NYC. How best to try to discredit them by tipping them off last night that Gephardt would be the veep-nominee, and then pulling the rug out from under them in the morning?!

Hey, it's no less feasible than some of the far-fetched conspiracies hatched by some of the lefty whackos on this site! ;)

Edwards? A one-term Senator who wasn't going to win re-election. Who won't help carry either of the Carolinas. Who lacks experience. Who lacks ... to use a favorite word of the left from back in '00 ... gravitas. A wealthy trial lawyer who creatively reduced his tax burden (so much for populism). Who stumbled his way through the 2nd Dem debate this past winter, looking like a deer in the headlights. Whose "two Americas" rhetoric will be played out as being divisive.

Bottom line, veep picks provide a small initial bump. It won't matter a hill o' beans come November. On a list of factors contributing to a Bush (or Kerry) victory this Election Day, Edwards as vp is off the radar.

You know the political temperature is too high when a funny headline is used to sermonize everything that is wrong with a human being. It might be time for your morning cup of lighten up.

I thought that my use of smileys would've given away that I, too, was having a little fun with my responses, especially my conspiracy comment.

My morning coffee (freshly ground full-bodied Kenyan beans) is strong enough, thankyouverymuch!

If you were joking about your digs at Edwards than your sense of sarcasm is so accute that only dogs can hear it. (No smiley's after those digs by the way.)
