    DNI whistle blower coverup

    This deserves its own thread

Trump’s interaction with foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the US intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the IG for the intelligence community

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...AHuOBK?ocid=st

Did Trump promise his buddy Putin to give up the Russia spy that was extracted?
"If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, however, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

He probably just promised him 3 free nights at Trump Vegas and comped buffet vouchers.

Is there a phrase that describes the act giving them aid to a foreign enemy?

    How about: One-Term President

“The acting DNI broke the law when he decided to basically intercept the Inspector General’s report… There’s nothing in the statute that gives the DNI the authority to do what he did. And the American people should be worried about that.”

If Trump is so innocent, why is the WH trying to obstruct?

Thank you for sharing that piece, I rather liked it. In today’s political climate, it’s what you’d expect in this day of the age of the orange one.

Of course, Trump would wait until he was in a one-on-one meeting to discuss stuff like that and have the interpreters notes shredded.

Whistle-Blower’s complaint is said to involve multiple acts by Trump

More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has never had a wife he didn't cheat on.

Inappropriate? Isn't this the guy who berated the Aussie PM over the phone like the first week he was in office? The guy who blabbed classified intel to the Russian while in the Oval Office?

The guy wouldn't know whatever he was blathering about was appropriate or not for him to be discussing. He'd be doing it just to hear himself talk and make himself feel important.

My guess is he told Uncle Putie that we would turn over the exfil'd Russian spy to him.

Wonder if it is connected to the Ukraine. It was right around the time this happened.*

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...-a9111106.html

The house committees’ chairs say they will scrutinise a telephone call between the US president and Mr Zelensky on 25 July, during which Mr Trump allegedly told the Ukrainian president to reopen the Biden investigation if he wanted to improve relations with the US.

Republicans have come up with a solution to whistleblowers reporting the stupid & potentially illegal stuff that Trump says while speaking to world leaders on the phone... they'll start limiting staff access to Trump's phonecalls. See, the problem isn't that Trump is incompetent and says & does wildly illegal stuff... it's that people report on it. That's the entire premise of his "fake news" chant. If it's negative about Trump, it must be limited or stopped. And conservatives will silently sit by and let this happen. They have revoked their right to complain about future Dem administrations.

WaPo says it has to do with Ukraine. Probably part where Trump was withholding military aid Congress had authorized in order to get Ukraine to help dig up dirt on Biden.

You Repubs should be so proud.

Trump: I would never say something inappropriate.

Congress: We need to see the whistleblower disclosure.

Trump: No Congress you can't see it or even learn what exactly the whistleblower is alleging

Trump: btw.... there has NEVER been a President who has been more transparent.

President Donald Trump is defending himself against a “partisan whistleblower” whose complaint included a reported private conversation Trump had with a foreign leader.

Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Friday that the whistleblower was partisan. Trump also told reporters he did not know the identity of the whistleblower.

    Sounds a little like...
Lewandowsk: The Mueller report was 'very clear' in proving 'there was no obstruction

'have you ever read the report'

Lewandowsk: No I have never read it
