    Couldn't get past page 5.

Think I'll just go out back and shoot myself.

    Just get over it?

A church that doesn't provoke any crisis,
    A Gospel that doesn't unsettle,
A word of God that doesn't get under anyone's skin,
A word of God that doesn't touch the real sin of society around it,
What kind of Gospel is that?

The jury's not out on this one yet.

Seems like Conyers et.al. has done a lawyerly compendium of evidence to make a case for voter fraud in the state of Ohio. I don't think anyone can pass judgement on the truth or falsehood of these allegations just yet.

This kind of stuff has been a part of American politics from day one. There was widespread voter fraud in the South after Reconstruction, to get rid of the carpetbaggers and put the negroes back in their place. It's probably still going on. And party bosses like Mayor Daley of Chicago and Boss Tweed in NYC were notorious for manipulating vote counts. There were allegations that West Virginia Democratic party operatives cooked the vote to favor JF Kennedy in the 1960 election, without whose electoral votes he would not have won over Nixon, if you can believe that.

In this polarized political environment, where so many voters said they were voting on "moral" issues, it would not be surprising that over-zealous political operatives would be willing to "bend the rules" to ensure their candidates got into power. That's a story as old as American politics.

There should be a full and complete investigation. If it doesn't overturn the election results, which is doubtful, it should result in more rigorous and accurate vote counting in the next elections, so that neither party can cry "foul."

Perhaps the Dems should employ the exact same tactics in the states where they have favorable Sec'ys of State and Supreme Court majorities. If they did, one of two things would likely occur:

    1. It works and they win.
    2. They get caught and lose from recounts/revotes, and/or the get caught and still win. Either way, real election reform gets instituted.
