    NORTH KOREA: scraps 1953 armstice

Pyongyang scraps armistice amid heightened saber rattling - CNN.com

What will the US do? Can the US even do anything about North Korea?
Seems like the North Koreans are no pushover the Arabs.

Send Rodman back to North Korea and resume diplomacy?

Cat-n-mouse game with North Korea much more interesting then with the Arabs.

In good faith the U.S. should send 100 million 16 ounce or greater containers of soda and airdrop candy and fatty foods on their general population, make 'em too fat to fight.
I bet we could scrounge up a few million containers of Peeps also, they are so addictive when they are fresh!

Perhaps we can just leave them alone and stop trying to enforce our ideologies and social standards on them.

Oh wait, then we couldn't justify the money we spend on the military machine instead of the poor.

Let's cut off All aid and they will go hungry! Armys need food and fuel to run.

NK has declared the armistice invalid over ten times, most of them since 1990. I wouldn't get particularly worried by this alone.

I didn't realize that we were trying to force our ideologies and social standards on them. Perhaps you enlighten me with some inside information. Silly me, I thought we were trying to get them to drop their nuke program. Do the "can't we all just get along" thing.

While you're at it, maybe you can go over there and convince them to stop spending all their money on their military and start spending on the 80% of the country that is? I don't know, starving? Some electricity would nice too since the only light bulb in the country seems to be in the dictator in charge house.
