President Trump approval at 57% (Now at 59% for Jan 26th)

Well, we all know how polls are now. So, take this with same grain of salt used with the 40% approval rating a week or so back

    From Rasmussen:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 57% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trumpís job performance. Forty-three percent (43%) disapprove.

Well, Trump and Trump supporters have been saying the polls are rigged...

Good for Donald. At this juncture Carter was near 70% approval.

Rassmussen sucks because their polls don't align with my belief system.
Whenever the legislators endeavour to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience, and are left to the common refuge which God hath provided for all men against force and violence - John Locke

    Here is more

Relax --- the Rassmussen poll is about to skyrocket because Trump got 35 new jobs created today. That mean he only needs another 499,035 in the next 3 1/2 weeks to meet his campaign promise monthly new job performance standard.

That graphic didn't come from Gallup, and it includes a mistake (Reagan at 55; should be 51). Here is the Gallup link. Trump Sets New Low Point for Inaugural Approval Rating | Gallup

    From Gallup:

"Trump's inaugural approval rating is not much lower than the 51% recorded for George H.W. Bush in 1989 as well as for Ronald Reagan in 1981, but his disapproval rating is substantially higher than theirs. Whereas 45% disapprove of Trump, only 6% disapproved of the elder Bush and 13% disapproved of Reagan."
More Americans wanted Hillary Clinton to be President than wanted Donald Trump.

Pew Research does polls, too, and enjoys a good reputation as being non-partisan.

Of course, if its polls find any negative sentiment re the FOTUS, that could change, and Kellyanne Conway may have to rethink their relationship with the WH, too:

Well in fairness to the approval rating and to be 100% accurate with the facts presented in the chart, Donald Trump's net approval rating is ZER0.

They obviously included in the poll the 3-5 million illegal voters.

I didn't vote for him but, and possibly like others, I think his first few days in office have been pretty impressive. He's sticking to many of his campaign promises and going right after many of the things his supporters wanted. His approval rating has gone up for me.

    Really..
25 DOJ programs trump wants to cut.. all related to supporting domestic violence... That alone should make anyone cringe... I included a google link, go pic your preferred news source from that.

    While you are at it,
Donald Trump Budget Cuts: NEA, Sesame Street, Civil Rights | Money
This link includes the above stuff, but adds an additional 16 or so agencies/programs.

All in the name of saving money, yet at the same time US leadership passed rules explicitly preventing any reporting on the cost to repeal ACA, boosting military spending, when we already spend more than the next largest military powers COMBINED....

Sorry man, really need to review your perspective, because I can only assume you are a cyclist as this is a cycling site... give it a few years and you will be cycling with an oxygen tank on your back instead of a camelbak...

Your opinion is not mine, nor will you change mine. Political rants are pointless, especially on a cycling forum. It blows my mind that there are so many posts/threads concerning politics on rbr. I am sad that even I'm posting here. I guess that could be because 8 out of ten threads in my "unread" folder are in the politics forum.

I'm glad we are supporting our military with more money and less social experiments. That's a good thing.

I'm glad we are starting to cut back support of obamacare. That's a good thing.

To claim that the others are "supporting domestic violence" is a serious stretch of the imagination.

I'm all for the Keystone and Dakota pipelines.

I'm all for the imigration reform.

I'm out because this is completely pointless.

However if anyone wants to ride bikes, anytime, let's do it.

And this is where the problem lies. Where in my post did I say you support domestic violence. I was not even implying that.

I'm sorry that your opinion cannot be adjusted to reality. What makes your opinion better than mine. In the same vein I do not expect mine to be better than yours.

I never specifically said anything about whether I was for or against ACA, what I did post was that lawmakers explicitly placed a rule that prevents details about the cost of repealing ACA.

Sure you support the pipelines, why, are they taking your land away to build it, is it your drinking water that will get contaminated (2 leaks from pipelines in the last month.....).... Why do you support it, I honestly want to know. I am not one of those liberals, provide valid reasons and I will listen..

Reading comprehension 101 man.. don't put words in my mouth.
