    Trump declares war on Minneapolis

Leave it to Trump to make up lies to defend his abhorrent behavior.

Minneapolis mayor responds to Trump: I don't have time to be 'tweeting garbage out'
A dispute between the Trump campaign and the city of Minneapolis over the city’s request for an upfront payment for security at President Trump’s planned rally

Frey said at a Tuesday press conference. “I woke up this morning to a little bit of a surprise, which is that the president of the United States was tweeting about our city and me as the mayor. You know, I wake up every single morning with not a lot of time on my hands because I’m doing things like filling potholes and making sure that our city has enough affordable housing and I don’t have time, with a city of 430,000 people, to be tweeting garbage out. So it’s kind of surprising when the president of the United States, a country with 325 million people, has the time to do this himself. So I don’t know where the guy gets the time, but I certainly don’t have it.”

Donald Trump REALLY REALLY cares about police officers.
WHY THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WON’T PAY POLICE BILLS
Ten city governments from Arizona to Pennsylvania say the president’s political committee has stiffed them out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“Do we love law enforcement or what?” President Donald Trump asked a cheering crowd during his “Make America Great Again” political rally Oct. 12 in Lebanon, Ohio.

“Thank you, law enforcement!” the president later told officers, who he called “heroes.”

But when Lebanon City Hall sent Trump’s campaign a $16,191 invoice for police and other public safety costs associated with his event, Trump didn’t respond. Trump’s campaign likewise ignored Lebanon officials’ follow-up reminders to cover the sum — one rich enough to fund the entire police force for nearly two days in this modest city of 21,000, between Dayton and Cincinnati.

    The bill remains unpaid.

At least nine other city governments — from Mesa, Arizona, to Erie, Pennsylvania — are still waiting for Trump to pay public safety-related invoices they’ve sent his presidential campaign committee in connection with his political rallies, according to interviews with local officials and municipal records obtained by the Center for Public Integrity.

Some invoices are three years old. In all, city governments say Trump’s campaign owes them at least $841,219.

Uh...no...he knows Trump won't pay his bill. Which he never does--even though for an alleged billionaire $800,000USD owed to cities across the USA....the amount is chump-change.

GREAT JOB not defending Trump, yet again.

The mayor is a great American seeking to avoid lies and communist sympathizer propaganda.

Way to come out strong in defense of that guy you pretend you don't support.

What about the 10 other city governments where Trump has stiffed their police?

    Just?

Seem more like he cares about his budget to me. Given his words, and Trump's history of stiffing places for the costs of his ego fests.

Care to state how much you are willing to wager on that? You seem certain so I would expect you to be willing to wager a very high amount.

Are you willing to give odds to the other side, or are you only willing to take an even odds bet?

I am not asking you to make a bet, but rather lay out what you would be willing to bet.

    Months from now:

A dispute between the Trump campaign and the city of Minneapolis over the city’s demand for payment for security at President Trump’s rally as the Trump campaign ignores the debt.

Nope - joking and sarcasm have limits. Otherwise people will start believing Trump is just joking and we both know where that leads us to.

I would stop taking yourself so seriously but that is just me.

Sarcasm is fine and in today's timeline sarcasm is about all we have--gallows humor is very popular these days. So try to police this little forum all you wish, but sarcasm ain't going anywhere. Thank-god.

    Only partially joking.

Why do you think Trump acts, and has always acted (before being elected or even nominated), like he is above the law? Hint...labor crime is prosecuted vigorously and made a public spectacle. White-collar crime, is not only rampant, but is less prosecuted now than ever before. Trump acts like he is is above the law and there are no consequences...because for his entire adult life there have never been any. He's classic feudal-Europe Nobility. Nepotistic, narcissistic, ego-maniacal, vengeful, adulterous, cons everyone---and knows he'll never have to answer for anything. He's never had to.

Why are Sackler clan such jagoffs? Because they know they'll never spend a second in jail.

How many people went to jail for the mortgage derivatives debacle? Hint it sounds a lot like "none".

Assuming facts which are not in evidence (hint: assuming everyone recognizes sarcastic as well as you do) is a difficult thing to defend.

A family that has rules which are not enforced, it not a family but a mob.

If the nation cannot hold the President to the Constitution, it just stepped onto the slippery slope.

Whatevs, I just come here to bark at the moon. Some folks seem to think that a mostly hidden forum at the bottom of a Road Riding forum somehow holds sway in our national consciousness.

Not to worry, the right-wing Oath Keepers gun militia will escort President Donald Trump’s supporters at the campaign rally in Minneapolis. They don't expect payment.

Granted I don't know MSP law...but here....Local law requires shows have 1 armed uniform officer patrolling the halls per 1,000 patrons. Of course there's also the coast of organizing traffic barricades for the motorcade and locking things down etc. I'm guessing the venue rental cost has been stiffed by Trump before as well--costs a ton of money to not only set-up but also clean-up after arena events. The bill simply for roll-off dumpsters for waste is silly.

    No, seriously.

A gigantic pile of campaign funds is spent on one-time-use printed signage handed out to people to wave
...that are then thrown away after the event is over. We had a Bernie event with 2,000 people--they filled all of our on-site dumpsters with thrown away signage.
