When everything else fails, blame the sports drink
This is one that I actually havenít heard used before. This team has definitely been a huge disappointment since they signed all of those big names a few years ago though. Hopefully, taking a second look at nutrition will help them figure out what is going on.

So you're not supposed to mess with nutrition just prior to a big event? Who knew???

Ummm....don't they have a nutritional scientist on their staff?

BTW, I was wondering if team Ineos was using some sort of dark-colored drink? At the end of #18, when Bernal came across the finish, there was some dark stain on his jersey. At first I wondered if he got smacked in the mouth by some [email protected]$$ spectator on the summit climb, but then I considered that maybe it was his sports drink.

Yeah, I think all of the teams have relationships with sports drink, energy bar, and gel companies.

That wasn't Bernal. That was Quintana from Movistar. One of the commentators suggested a nose bleed from the altitude, but the other guy suggested it was gel.

So the question is, what is the brand of the drink mix? This could be a PR disaster for the manufacturer.
