    Michigan Road Race Team--new recruits

Greetings fellow roadies. We are now looking for new recruits to join our elite team. We are located in Livonia, Michigan and race all over state. Most of our members are category 4, with a couple of folks who are 2 and a 3. Our focus is developing racers to category 1, 2, and 3.

Our ultimate goal is be ultimate road team in Michigan. We need hard-core road racers. Are you interested in riding 100 miles at 16 miles per hour while sporting your rad Primal Wear jersey with lizard sublimated desgns? Are you interested in talking about the good 'ole days when you use to tear 'em up with your six speed skinny tire ride? Are you interested in doing tandem races or centuries with your signficant other? Sorry...this team is not for you. ...but seriously, we are a friendly group of people to hang with, but we take racing our bikes seriously. We enjoy being the top team in Michigan (well, category 4)...because no one wants to be on a loser team right? Sure, you can expect great bike and equipment discounts, but you aren't going to join a team just for that right? Who knows, maybe you will find a nice dude you can get along with and have a few brewski's (or gal).

If you are a woman, don't be scared. No one is going to ask you out and hassel you while you are busy riding them off of your wheel.

Okay...enough of my sarcasm. Do it. Click the link below and join. See you in 2011!

Yes. But this is during racing season (March-September). It's during Tuesdays. It is insanely fast. Many other competing teams usually join our rides because it has a reputation for being very hard and very fast. If you can finish this fast ride, you are fast enough to do well in the races.

Depending on interest, we usually try to get in a 50+ mile ride during the weekends...but this ride is a little bit slower (around 20 mph average---do not confuse this with "cruising average---this is ACTUAL average including stops, etc).
