Question Newbie question on racing results - 16-70 vs 16-71??

I'm new to racing, have done 3 little local crits over the past 3 weeks and loving it...so much fun and learning a lot.

I can't figure out, and I can't find anything when I try to search, on why the results from my CAT 4/5 races are split into 2 "groups." The first group of finishers are under a heading, "CAT 4/5 - 16-70" and the rest of the finishers are under a heading, "CAT 4/5 - 16-71."

Can anyone help me understand what this means?

    Thanks!

You must be between a race age of 16-70 etc...to be eligible to race that particular 4/5 race I believe.

Thanks...so any thoughts as to why the one group of racers would have results split up, with one listed as "Men CAT 4/5 - 16-70" and the other "Men CAT 4/5 - 16-71?" And the split is just about the midpoint of the results....e.g. the first 17 finishers were in the "16-70" and the remaining 25 finishers were in the "16-71" heading...seems very odd?? Maybe a mistake?

Prob just a formatting thing. I must admit that I've not seen that results posted that way before. But, if the places are correct then it really doesn't matter.

USAC results are so buggy. Simple things like capitalization, team names, etc. are all screwed up. Maybe b/c of reporting by race promoters, but nonetheless, results are always sketchy (in terms of formatting and semantics, not placing, which is generally pretty accurate imo).
