Tour of the Battenkill - Question About Water

Going to be doing this race for the first time this year - I will not be "racing", mostly just for the long strenuous workout on my gravel bike.

Wondering about getting resupplied for water. Does anyone know if the support areas have water to refill water bottles?

While I'm here - was thinking of riding my slick Gravelking 28 mm tires, as it has been pretty wet this spring - any comments?

    Thanks, appreciate it.

Was able to find out on the map that there are a few "feed stations" for snacks and water. The tire question still stands though

Iíve done it 2 times and there is water as well as food, gels and electrolytes at the stations. I rode on 25s both times and had no issues - Vittoria pave clincher and on giant Gavin tubeless. Doing the piccolo 40km this year with my daughter- good luck and have a fun ride!

Thanks for the reply. The other set of tires are 25 mm conti 4000. We may drive through the dirt sections on Friday just to check it out. I suspect I'll use the 25 mm and be prepared for a flat.

Best of luck on Saturday - can't wait for the kids to be old enough to do more of these rides with me.

Did that race a good four years, at least one year after a lot of rain. Still used my 25s without issue. What an awesome time!
I believe the children are the future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.

Rode my 25s with no issue whatsoever. Was a great event.
