I recently went from a 2003 Trek 5500 to a 2018 Tarmac SL5 that I got on sale at a great price. The bike is stiffer and much more responsive which is great, but I didn't think it would be such a jarring ride going over small bumps in the road. I'm riding HED Belgium C2 rims with WI T11 hubs, and 700x25 Vittoria Open Corsa tires at around 100 psi. I assume a lower pressure would probably improve the ride so I'm going to try that. Just wondering if anyone is having a similar experience.
