    OCLV "ride quality" comparison

Alright folks.......I understand that when it comes to OCLV, we've got 55, 110, 120, etc. that's supposed to be lighter, stiffer etc. My question is.......are the differences in ride quality THAT noticable? I currently ride an '04 5200 and have the opportunity to get a good deal on a Madone 5.9 SL. Should I take the plunge or just be content with my current ride?
By the way, I'm not a hard core racer, just someone who likes to go fast and log some good miles.
Thanks in advance for the replies

5.9 will be faster and lighter. will it be more comfortable and will it "feel" better? no, but on clims it will make a huge difference and will be much zippier.

Carbon ride quality among the Trek brands is pretty consistent. The 5.9 will be lighter than the 5200, which might translate into more 'snap' on the road.
-Would you like a mechanic chick to look at that for you?
