Warning if you are planning to buy a bike from cyclingyong! Bought one in october.. arrived on time but with the wrong headset. Took them 6 weeks to send me another haedset, again the wrong one. Then they promised to send me another one but i have been waiting for over two months now.
So i do have a beautiful frame but i m still riding my 9 yr old TREK.

So, you tried to buy a counterfeit Pinarello from a disreputable offshore manufacturer and you're complaining because you have to wait? because their service wasn't spectacular? because it's been an inconvenience to get the right order?

You're stealing, and this manufacturer is stealing the design and the brand that Pinarello invested money into developing.

So what do you think? Is the Spaz a sock or just an annoying troll who likes to be a pain in the ass to real, established members who actually contribute something?

    Back on topic...

For every counterfeiter that gets shut down, 3 more will pop up...as long as there is a market.

Me personally? All "Intellectual property" and "R&D" aside...I'm shocked someone would put their safety in the hands of criminals. It appeals to the lowest for of selfishness...self preservation. There's no way in this green earth I would ride a fake frame...I just don't trust it.

As for it hurting the real makers...I'm not so sure I agree with that. Someone willing to buy fake parts just to get a look of the real thing probably would look at the real thing anyway. I really want a S-Works Tarmac...but I don't have $10K to drop on it (nor will I). If I buy a fake for $2K Specialized isn't really losing my business because I can't afford to give it to them in the first place...

Some people would rather drop $$ on a fake top end than a real lower end...I don't get it but its how some thing I guess.

Must be a sock. Obvious join date of May 2013.

Probably Mr Bubbles or someone similarly mundane.

    Definite troll here.

I agree with aroadbike though. Anyone who knowingly purchases a counterfeit frame deserves to get screwed over. Supporting jackasses who make fake frames is just as bad as making the frames yourself.

Where we bash up counterfeit frames? Can we use them as cudgels?
